Annie Ahmadi-Gestoso

Founder, Director and Lead Facilitator

Annie is the founder and director of Kinspiration CIC and Annie’s Kids Club, initiatives rooted in her deep commitment to fostering emotional wellbeing, creativity and resilience in children and families. With nearly 20 years of experience across primary and secondary education, Annie has worked in a broad spectrum of roles that shaped her nuanced understanding of teaching, learning and school leadership. From her early days as a Learning Support Assistant to becoming an Assistant Headteacher and Literacy Co-ordinator, her career has spanned roles such as ECT Mentor, Specialist SEND Tutor, Phase Leader, Teaching Alliance Facilitator and Local Authority Moderator. Her mission has always been clear: raise attainment, drive school improvement and create nurturing environments where every child can truly thrive.

Kinspiration CIC was born from Annie’s desire to bring her wealth of experience into the community space, offering children and families creative opportunities to develop a growth mindset and a lifelong love of learning. The organisation delivers inspiring workshops and events that integrate mindfulness, arts, storytelling and cultural celebration to foster resilience and self-expression. Annie’s Kids Club complements this work by offering enrichment sessions in Brent, helping children build confidence and connection through play, creative exploration and emotional support. Events like the Lunar New Year celebration, sensory art classes and wellbeing workshops showcase her commitment to accessible, joyful and inclusive learning experiences.

Annie’s approach is deeply personal. As both an educator and a mother, she brings empathy, real-world understanding, and heartfelt dedication to everything she creates. She often credits her daughter as a daily reminder of the power of curiosity, perseverance and mindset, values that are embedded into every Kinspiration activity. Her belief that learning should be fun and rooted in emotional wellbeing is not just theoretical; it is lived and practiced in both her professional and parenting life. This dual lens enables her to connect with other parents and educators with authenticity and insight.

Now leading Kinspiration CIC into its next chapter, Annie is focused on expanding the reach of her programs, building partnerships with schools and community spaces as well as supporting educators and other community organisations through consultancy and co-creation. She is passionate about working collaboratively to ensure positive change in children’s lives, where resilience is taught, creativity is celebrated and every child, regardless of background, feels seen and empowered. Through Kinspiration, Annie continues to lead a movement that transforms how we nurture young minds – one community, one classroom and one child at a time.
